We had this car already before the official European introduction in 2014. It stood behind a wall because no one was allowed to see it.
We already became the car from BMW so we could build the shock absorber system for the hill climb championship in Switzerland which started directly after the European introduction.
We weren’t allowed to do anything with the car, no pictures (which of –course we did in front of the company quite quickly) no driving (we didn’t do this, too much of a risk, telephone photographers snapping the first non-camouflaged M4 in Europe on the main roads), so no testing at all.
The Intrax engineers did a good job, proven by the “out of the box” speed and the champions trophy of that year.
